Brazil's presidential candidates, Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, and incumbent, Jair Bolsonaro, on sunday took part in the country's first presidential debate. Bolsonaro and Lula were joined in the televised debate, by fellow candidates, former governor, and minister, ciro gomes, and Senator Simone Tebet, both far behind the front-runners in the polling numbers.

Bolsonario accused his main rival of corruption, while in government, and Lula countered by listing a string of achievements. Lula currently leads bolsonaro, 47%, to 32%.
