Indonesian Stock Exchange Opens 2023 With Optimism

President Joko Widodo rings the bell, marks the opening of The Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023, for the first trading day.

After the bell rang, the Indonesian composite managed to edge up, But struggled to gain momentum, finally rose zero point one percent in closing hours.

Even so, President Widodo, in his speech, praised the performance of Indonesia's composite index, which managed to increase more than four percent on an annual basis, despite many challenges in 2022.
