Ahead of the wedding of the youngest son of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep with Erina Gudono, people in Surakarta, Central Java, welcomed them by performing traditional dances when a motorized vehicle-free day was enforced in Surakarta, Central Java.
A number of people in Surakarta, Central Java also celebrated the happiness of Kaesang and Erina's wedding by performing some traditional Javanese dances. One of the dances is Gugur Gunung dance which will be performed in bridal procession.
This dance symbolizes prosperity in Javanese wedding procession. Besides performing traditional dances they also installed some pamphlets and trinkets containing congratulatory words for Kaesang and Erina.
