1000 People in Germany of Runners Dressed in Santa Outfits

Almost 1000 people in Germany took part in the annual michendorf father christmas run as they were dressed in costumes of the iconic festive character. The event was first held 14 years ago by Udo Grotzner and some of his friends from the michendorf running club.
Grotzner said the aim was to organise a special kind of race for families to take part in at christmas time. Grotzner said the event was so popular because it involves people of all ages. It is the largest costume run in germany according to the organisers.
